Aikawa in which the court dismissed in its totality the application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for a forfeiture order on my home in Ilorin, Kwara State. I am particularly happy that the court specifically ruled that there was no evidence that the property was built with any illicit or stolen funds from the Kwara State

By Abubakar Bukola Saraki When I tweeted last week about the tragic incident of the rape and murder of Vera Uwaila Omozuwa in a church in Benin, I did so for several reasons. First, it was the right thing to do as these incidents of violence against our women are becoming all too frequent. Second, it was borne out of the conviction that we all need to stand up and fight this dangerous trend, which represents a new low to which our country has sunk.
